Storytelling is arguably the most powerful form of communication as it helps augment both creative and critical thought processes. Since storytelling is layered with emotion, it makes information it carries relevant and memorable to the listener. Listening and telling stories helps build empathy, connections and deepens the understanding of complex thoughts. It is not only a potent tool for the facilitator to organise information, but also a dynamic means for students to reflect and express. Storytelling is a foundation for much of Kutumb's work, including our Qissagadh Active Library programme. Over the years, Kutumb’s work on this theme has been supported by Google, Adobe, Delhi Storytellers’ Tribe, Apartment 9, and scores of individual donors. Over the years, Kutumb’s work on this theme has been supported by Public Affairs Section of Department of State, U.S. Embassy, Habitat Learning Centre, and scores of individual donors.
